Position Description The Columbia University Department of Anesthesiology is looking for a laboratory research assistant join the team in investigating the neurobiology underlying the transitions from the conscious brain to the unconscious brain. This is done through neurophysiologic, behavioral and surgical approaches.
Performing behavioral experiments
Participating in post surgical care for animals
Collecting, analyzing and reporting on the data obtained
Previous experience in Behavioral Neuroscience a plus
Previous experience in working with Graphpas Statistical Software a plus
Previous experience in data analysis a plus
Time Commitment 15-30 hours per week
Compensation $15 - $20 per hour depending on previous work experience
