Position Description
NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Co
lumbia University Medical Center is looking for a student to volunteer as a research assistant in their division of pediatric emergency. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-screening patients for eligibility 

  • Enrolling eligible patients into the studies being conducted in the PED

  • Assisting research proceedings

  • Observing faculty, fellow, and senior resident physicians in the clinical care given to the patients 

Position Requirements

  • Must be a pre-health professional, recent graduate or post-baccalaureate student

  • Must have completed a bachelor's degree

  • Must be well-spoken and professional with excellent communication and organizational skills 

Time Commitment
Part-time (minimum of one five-hour shit per week, and one overnight shift every five weeks), with a minimum of one year commitment.
