Position Description NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Columbia University Medical Center is looking for a student to volunteer as a research assistant in their division of pediatric emergency.
Responsibilities include:
Pre-screening patients for eligibility
Enrolling eligible patients into the studies being conducted in the PED
Assisting research proceedings
Observing faculty, fellow, and senior resident physicians in the clinical care given to the patients
Position Requirements
Must be a pre-health professional, recent graduate or post-baccalaureate student
Must have completed a bachelor's degree
Must be well-spoken and professional with excellent communication and organizational skills
Time Commitment Part-time (minimum of one five-hour shit per week, and one overnight shift every five weeks), with a minimum of one year commitment.
