Position Description The Columbia University Medical Center Nurture Science Program (NSP) is seeking a student to serve as a research intern supporting a behavioral study of maternal separation and nurture in rats.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitating maternal-pup separation
Weighing pups
Coding maternal behavior
Conducting a behavioral experiment
Position Requirements
Must have a strong work ethic, flexibility, and organizational skills
Must have an interest in development and translational science
Previous experience with rats a plus
Time Commitment Part-time, flexible schedule with a minimum of 15 hours/week.
