Organization Dermatology of Lower Manhattan

Position Description Dr. Zoe Veritas is seeking a student to serve as a doctor's assistant and medical scribe in her private dermatology practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Documenting and scribing in the electronic medical record

• Shadowing the physician

• Assisting with biopsies

• Learning SOAP note-taking skills and the practice of dermatology

• Learning about the practice's electronic medical record system

Position Requirements

• Must have good typing skills and be technologically savvy

• Must have good bedside manner and patient rapport

Time Commitment Part-time (Wed., 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
