Position Description

The NYU Langone Hand Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a student to serve as a research assistant. The volunteer will work closely with Dr. Omri Ayalon at Manhattan Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Group.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and understanding study material

• Consenting and following-up with patients

• Ensuring quality of study data

• Shadowing physicians and observing procedures in the operating room

Position Requirements

• Prior clinical experience

• Ability to interact with clients

Time Commitment

Six hours per week, Monday and/or Thursday (flexible hours)
