Paid, Full-time, Clinical Research Coordinator, Women's Mental Health

Description (MGH) is seeking students to work as clinical research coordinators. The program is designed to provide evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders associated with female reproductive function. The research division's goal is to examine questions which affect the lives of women with psychiatric conditions. The research coordinators will be assigned 1-2 active projects and will work closely with the principal investigator and under the supervision of a senior research coordinator.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research visits with study patients and clinicians

  • Managing recruitment, screening, and enrollment of research patients

  • Administering psychiatric assessments

  • Performing phlebotomy (course offered at MGH) and preparing specimen

  • Collecting and entering data and managing the database

  • Preparing and submitting research protocols to IRB

  • Ensuring compliance with the Partners IRB as well as federal and institutional guidelines

  • Working on special projects such as grant or journal article submission

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least one year of research experience a plus

  • Ability to independently resolve problems and think critically

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Data management and analysis knowledge a plus

Time Commitment

Full-time (9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with a half hour unpaid lunch), with a two-year commitment strongly preferred.

Compensation $31,200 plus benefits
