Part-time, Patient Outcomes Volunteer, Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care

Position Description

Dr. Christopher Kellner, faculty neurosurgeon and Director of the Intracerebral Hemorrhage Program at Mount Sinai, and Dr. Neha Dangayach, neuro-intensivist and Co-Director of the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit, are seeking two students to assist with patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting monthly follow-up calls to collect patient outcomes data on quality of life, functional outcomes, resilience and spirituality

  • Following up with patients after discharge

Position Requirements

  • Experience working with patients in a clinical environment

  • Interest in learning more about a patient's journey in the hospital and after discharge

  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus

Time Commitment: Part-time, starting in Mid-May/June. A requirement of 5 hours a week, with the possibility of a flexible schedule including evening hours and working from home,) with a minimum commitment of one semester.
