Position Description
The Appetite Lab (PI: Susan Carnell) in the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a student to work as a research coordinator. Candidates must be willing to live in Baltimore.
Responsibilities Include:
Implementing research protocols
Supporting the PI in research-related activities
Providing support for the coordination and productivity of funded studies investigating eating behaviors and body weight in infancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood, with a focus on neuroimaging studies of healthy populations and individuals with eating disorders or dysregulation
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. psychology, cognitive neuroscience, nutrition)
Experience in data collection and management
Experience in conducting behavioral obesity research in children and families a plus
Experience with neuroimaging (particularly fMRI) research a plus
Experience using behavioral or imaging data analysis packages (e.g. SPSS, SPM) a plus
Time Commitment: Full-time
