Position Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator responsible for conducting and assisting in clinical research studies, obtaining informed consent, collecting maintaining and organizing study information. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Conducting routine and standardized human subject research 

  • Assisting in the activities related to clincal research including obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registering patients with sponsoring agencies. 

  • Assisting with the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation

  • Maintaining source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures. 

  • Securing and shipping clinical specimens as required by the protocol

Position Requirements

  • Must have 0-2 years of clinical or laboratory research experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field, a plus 

  • Combination of relevant research experience and education, a plus

  • Bilingual Spanish, a plus

Time commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of 1 year
