Position Description
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator responsible for conducting and assisting in clinical research studies, obtaining informed consent, collecting maintaining and organizing study information.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting routine and standardized human subject research
Assisting in the activities related to clincal research including obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registering patients with sponsoring agencies.
Assisting with the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation
Maintaining source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures.
Securing and shipping clinical specimens as required by the protocol
Position Requirements
Must have 0-2 years of clinical or laboratory research experience
Bachelor's degree in science or related field, a plus
Combination of relevant research experience and education, a plus
Bilingual Spanish, a plus
Time commitment Full-time, with a minimum commitment of 1 year
