Position Description Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center's Pediatric Endocrinology Division is seeking a student to serve as a volunteer/intern to be exposed to the dynamics of clinical practice and the continuous evolution of research specific to the field of Endocrinology. The volunteer/intern will attend clinical sessions in the private office to learn about different pediatric age groups with a wide variety of hormonal problem.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and organizing patients' data and charts Partaking in weekly pediatric endocrine rounds when discussions focus on the treatment and management of inpatients and outpatients Attending weekly Naomi Berrie Center lectures where nationally-recognized researchers discuss current, cutting edge research in the field of diabetes, obesity, and more Observing patients in the clinics

Time Commitment Part-time; 8 hours per week with a minimum one-year commitment
