Full-time, Research Data Associate, Population Health

Position Description The New York University School of Medicine's Department of Population Health is seeking a qualified research data associate to provide research support for all aspects of a large, multi-year study, including database creation and management, basic data analysis, and assisting with workflow and study coordination.

Responsibilities include:

• assisting with the recruitment of patients, including helping with field surveys.

• tracking participant flow through the study

• updating tracking logs

• assisting with basic data analysis along with helping to draft results/present findings

• compling and summarizing data

• conducting literature reviews

• participating in special projects and other duties as required

Position Requirements

• must have a Bachelor's degree in public health or related field plus one year related experience

• must be computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills

• must be proficient in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
