About
I would love to help you to succeed on your tests and be part of your journey. I remember studying for the MCAT myself, poring over passages, and memorizing the amino acids while others got to enjoy the beautiful spring weather of application season. Since then, I have completed four years of medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY.and matched into my top choice of residency program: Psychiatry Residency Program at Columbia University. While it may be difficult to believe, many of the skills that MCAT study instilled in me have been useful in my career since.
As a former English major, I feel that I have a special knack for teaching the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills section. I would also be happy to look over AMCAS applications and personal essays.
I have tutored USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2 CK, and Shelf exams. At school, both individually and in small group sessions, and have worked with more than 50 students of all different ranges. Together we can work on subject mastery and review, test-taking strategies, and study scheduling tips, and a calendar. Meetings can be structured in whatever format you prefer, including question review, topic lessons, and test strategy.
