Part-Time Clinical Research Assistant at the CUMC Department of Anesthesiology

Position Description: The CUMC Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a student to work as a clinical research assistant to support ongoing projects. The research primarily assesses new, non-invasive technology to estimate cardiac output in the operating room and the ICU.

Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining patient consent

• Attaching monitors to the patient once they are anesthetized

• Collecting data during surgery and managing data

Position requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Highly organized

• Ability to work independently

• Glide year preferred

Time commitment: Part-time; 20 hours per week. Hours vary due to their dependence on surgery schedules.

Compensation: $15/hour
