Organization BronxCare Health System
Position Description BronxCare Health System is seeking to hire two full-time analysts in their Population Health Department. The Population Health department develops outpatient initiatives aimed to improve the health of Bronx residents.Training in the BronxCare EMR and database will be provided. Opportunities for research studies and presentations at conferences are available.
Responsibilities include:
Improving adherence to preventive care guidelines
Growing provider patient panels
Decreasing cost of care and increasing revenue
Improving patient experience in the clinics
Improving physician productivity and efficiency in terms of improving patient health
Compiling, distributing, and presenting progress/performance reports to both clinical and non-clinical staff on a regular basis
Using data to identify operational weaknesses and to design improvements where needed to achieve goals
Position Requirements
Strong analytical and investigative skills
SQL proficient
Strong MS Excel skills
Desire to improve health outcomes with technology
Communication and consensus building skills
Ability to self-teach and investigate
Further programming skills a plus
MS Access skills a plus
.NET or C# experience a plus
Time Commitment Full-time (Monday through Friday)
Compensation: TBD, includes benefits
